Join us in the PCL UFCU Room for zine making and collection showcase from UT Libraries! We will have a number of zines by BIPOC and LGBTQ creators that we’re excited to share with you. We’ll bring the snacks, magazines, scissors, paste and instruction guides. Stop by and make some art!

This exhibit showcases several plant species native to the region now known as Texas, and surrounding areas, that were consumed and used by several Indigenous tribes. It also discusses modern foraging practices and identification details through guidebooks and encyclopedia length compilations by local experts in botany.

Do you dream of writing a book, but somehow never DO it? If so, National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) may be for you! NaNoWriMo occurs every November and challenges participants to write the first draft of a 50,000 word novel in just a month. This curated book display celebrates novels begun as NaNo projects and highlights some of the writing craft books from the UT Libraries' collection.

The UT Poetry Center has collected chapbooks for over 50 years, and this exhibit highlights the forms, experimentation, and genres found in these little books.

With our “Dear Reader” display on PCL’s 3rd floor, we’re celebrating letters in all their forms!

Black Classicists in Texas tells the story of Central Texas’ early educators of color and their passion for the study of antiquity.

"Herstory" is a bilingual exhibition (English/Mandarin) showcasing the milestones and often harrowing stories of Chinese American women through legal histories in the United States.
