Held virtually, this three-day Immersive Python Workshop provides UT students, faculty, and researchers with the foundational skills needed to begin using Python – no prior experience required!
Designed for beginners, the workshop starts with an introduction to Python, then moves into breakout tracks where participants can explore specific applications such as geospatial analysis, sentiment analysis, and data visualization. The program concludes with guidance on managing research code effectively.
All UT Austin students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend.

Introduction to Python + File Management + Python & VS Code installation - Friday, January 9, 12:30-4 pm
Sentiment Analysis or Geospatial Analysis or Data Visualization + GitHub + AI
